Meet Christina
I'm Christina Bellevue.
I'm an image consultant and multicultural marketing strategist helping people look, feel, and show up as their best selves — wherever life takes them. My specialty is Black beauty and expat life, and my debut guide is the first of many resources to come.
At heart, I'm an international beauty hunter and a Korean drama lover. As the Founder and Lead Consultant at Christina in Colour, I've built a consultancy dedicated to amplifying and uplifting all things Black beauty on a global scale.
Born and raised in Canada, I stay closely connected to my Haitian roots.
15 Years in Global Beauty Marketing
Before Christina in Colour, I spent 15 years in Account Management, Brand Management, Marketing, and Public Relations at L'Oréal and Procter & Gamble — working on everything from Olympic Games campaigns to new product launches to digital and influencer strategy.
At P&G, I helped lead the Black Professional Network employee resource group, organizing professional development and Black History Month programming for colleagues.
In 2018, I moved to Ibaraki, Japan for two years on the JET Programme, teaching leadership classes to Japanese high schoolers through the United Nations University Global Seminar and organizing events to connect the Black diaspora across Japan. That experience — and everything I learned trying to keep my own beauty routine intact in a country that wasn't built for melanated skin — became my first book.
I've since gone on to facilitate workshops and speak on career strategy, mentoring, leadership, and multicultural marketing at Stanford, the United Nations University in Japan, the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa, and Centennial College.
